June 6 WRFR Radio Show 9am- 11am 93.3 FM

Friday's show will feature 1971's 'Escalator Over the Hill'. It's one of the few albums that Paul played on that he didn't have a copy of. As my brother and I were on our way to Round Again Records in Providence, RI, I asked him if he had a copy. He doesn't, but Round Again did. Carla Bley and Paul Haines call 'Escaltor Over the Hill' a chronotransduction. I call it a jazz opera in the vein of The Who's 'Tommy' or Peter Gabriel's 'The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway'. Tune in to check it out.
